Subject to conditions and limitations within our warranty guidelines, REGAL Shower Screens guarantees its products against defects arising from defective workmanship for a period of 2 years after final installation date. This will be assessed onsite if this is faulty workmanship or wear and tear which is not covered under warranty. However, all defects (if any will arise soon after an install), should be noted to REGAL Shower Screens as per Warranty stipulations below.
For the purpose of this warranty “the product” pertains to, shower screens, mirrors, wardrobe doors, melamine shelving, & glass splashbacks, the products ordinarily manufactured and sold by REGAL Shower Screens.
Warranty Claims
Claims under this guarantee MUST be made within one month of the defect arising in the product, & confirmed by inspection; Other than as provided by law REGAL Shower Screens will repair or replace the product to the extent that it is functionally equivalent to the original product supplied.
Copies of documentation showing the purchase date of the product should be included with your written claim and forwarded to REGAL Shower Screens at: admin@regalshowerscreens.com.
All warranty claims will require an inspection by a REGAL Shower Screens personnel or authorised agent of REGAL Shower Screens. The customer will then be advised if the claim is covered under the warranty. If the claim is under warranty the product will be repaired or replaced by REGAL Shower Screens. Otherwise, upon request, REGAL Shower Screens will provide a quote to rectify the problem. Any false claims to warranty will not be honoured and a fee may occur.
Conditions and Limitations
- The product is installed in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards and building practice. Unless otherwise specifically confirmed in writing, REGAL Shower Screens accepts no responsibility for waterproofing and/or re-sealing of penetrations and such remains the responsibility of others including builder, renovator, homeowner. Please see disclosure at the bottom of your quotation given in regards to notification of all waterpipes prior to installation. Acceptance of the quotation is taken as an understanding of these terms.
- The product has been maintained according to REGAL Shower Screens maintenance recommendations and has not been subject to misuse, physical abuse, or neglect.
- In respect Shower Screen, mirror, wardrobe door, internal shelving and splashbacks, REGAL Shower Screens will not cover a warranty should the items be installed by other than personnel nominated by REGAL Shower Screens.
- Manufacturing standards and tolerances are not deemed defects, nor are industry variations in the colour of aluminium componentry or glass colours.
- REGAL Shower Screens will accept no responsibility for glass breakage (except for faulty workmanship or materials). Toughened glass, float glass, laminated glass, mirror glass and framed mirror glass is guaranteed against defects and degradation e.g. desilvering, black edge/creep and clouding for one (1) year. Products are not covered if chemicals or sprays are used outside correct cleaning requirements as this may affect the product.
- Moving parts, which wear out as part of normal use are guaranteed for (1) year. This includes all door drops which commonly occur due to house movement in weather changes, and are not a warranty issue. A service fee for door adjustments will occur after 12 months. All hinges should be maintained with sewing machine oil regularly.
- This guarantee is limited to the repair or replacement product or any other consequential or indirect damage incurred as a result of the defect. Only repairs carried out by REGAL Shower Screens personnel or authorised REGAL Shower Screens agents are covered by this guarantee.
- This guarantee is in addition to all other rights and remedies in respect of this product to which you are entitled under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
