To properly clean protected glass and remove buildup from the coated surface, it is important to follow the cleaning guide below, taking into account your local conditions and mineral content.

  • Glass should be cleaned with warm soapy water and a soft microfiber cloth, rinsed with clean water, and dried with a dry microfiber cloth. Any other product used is not what we recommend and is not covered under warranty. Wipe down the glass after each use with a good-quality squeegee for best results. This will keep the glass cleaner between cleanings.
  • Using certain substances can harm the treatment and void your warranty. Avoid using abrasives like water spot removers, toothpaste, polishes, Norwex Cloths, rough, or gritty cleaning tools. Stay away from acids, alkalis, or cleaners with Sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), bleach, tilex, or sodium hydroxide. Also, refrain from using harsh or chemical cleaners on your shower glass.
  • Glass coated with a water-repelling, easy-clean coating like Supershield, Nanokote, etc., may be damaged by harsh cleaning chemicals. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft microfiber cloth, or as per the manufacturer’s instructions, to ensure that the coating remains effective for up to 10 years. All glass that receives this coating will have a sticker provided with a Code to register with the product provider to register your warranty with them.
  • Aluminium frames can also be cleaned with warm soapy water, avoiding abrasive cloths. Harsh chemicals in some cleaning products can cause discolouration and damage to the aluminium’s surface.
  • Shower screens should be cleaned at least weekly to prevent the buildup of soap stains, which can damage the glass surface over time.
  • Mirrors can be cleaned using a glass cleaning spray and a soft cloth or paper towel. Avoid chemical and insect sprays near mirrors, as this will discolour them and void any warranty.
  • Frameless shower hardware should be checked every six months to ensure that the screws are tight. Check the gaps between panels to ensure adequate clearance. Sewing machine oil is recommended for hinges to keep them lubricated.
  • Plastic water guards under doors are not a serviceable or warranty product. These can be removed and cleaned with soapy water and replaced.

  • Keep wardrobe door sill tracks clear of dust and debris to ensure doors can be moved freely.
  • Wardrobe shelving should be wiped down with a slightly damp, non-abrasive cloth. Ensure that the shelves are dried afterwards. Avoid wetting the shelving or using sprays on the board.
  • Care should be taken not to overload wardrobe shelving, which can result in the bowing of the shelves.
  • Cleaning of glass splashbacks as per cleaning instructions for showers and mirrors.
